Three versatile reverbs in one compact pedal
The NUX NRV-3 Damp Reverb is a compact effects pedal featuring three characteristic reverb types: Plate, Spring, and Hall. From subtle spatial ambiance to long, atmospheric soundscapes, this pedal effortlessly adds depth and character to your sound.
With controls for Decay, Level, and Tone, you can precisely adjust the length, volume, and timbre of the reverb. This makes the Damp Reverb suitable for electric guitar, bass guitar, synthesizer, and other electronic instruments.
Plate, Spring, and Hall
The Plate mode is inspired by the classic EMT 140 plate reverb, delivering a bright, even studio reverb. This setting works excellently for clean guitar parts, melodies, and spacious solos.
Spring simulates the lively character of a traditional spring reverb. The result is a robust, bouncy reverb that pairs well with surf music, rockabilly, blues, and vintage guitar sounds.
The Hall mode is based on the spatial character of the famous Lexicon 224. This setting produces a broad, warm reverb with a lush decay and is ideal for ambient, post-rock, and other atmospheric music styles.
Shimmer and Freeze via the footswitch
In addition to activating the effect, the footswitch also offers a momentary secondary function. In Plate mode, it activates a floating Shimmer sound. With Spring and Hall, you can sustain the reverb using the Freeze function, creating a long-lasting sound bed.
True bypass, trails, and stereo use
You can choose between true bypass and buffered bypass. With buffered bypass, the reverb tails naturally continue to ring out when you switch off the effect. Meanwhile, the analog dry signal ensures low noise and virtually no latency.
The Damp Reverb also supports stereo input and output via a 6.3 mm TRS cable. This allows you to create a wide stereo image with two amplifiers, an audio interface, or another stereo setup.
