Rupert Neve Designs RNDI - Active DI – DI box

The Rupert Neve Designs RNDI is a high-quality DI with a rich, deep, and full sound, offering exceptional clarity without any added harshness. The RNDI uses a Rupert Neve-designed Class-A transformer and discrete FET amplifiers. It features a robust metal housing and is powered by 48V phantom power. The input can be switched between instrument and speaker level, allowing both an instrument and an amplifier output to be connected directly. In instrument mode, the RNDI has an impressive headroom of +21.5dBU, meaning any line source can be connected without a pad. In speaker mode, a power amplifier of up to 1000 Watts can be connected to capture the full sound of the instrument, preamplifier, EQ, inserts, and power stages of the amplifier. This allows the FOH technician to work with the complete sound without extraneous noise, as would be the case with a microphone.
