This composition was commissioned by the Osaka Kyoiku University Wind Orchestra. The world premiere was performed with trumpet soloist Osamu Kumashiro under the direction of the composer, who was inspired by the famous Ponte Vecchio (old bridge) during a visit to Florence. The work is a musical collage of impressions Yagisawa gained in Italy. The solo part can also be played on trumpet or euphonium.
