The sE Electronics sE2300 is a versatile large-diaphragm condenser microphone, designed for professional studio recording of vocals, instruments, and speech applications. At the heart of the microphone is a handcrafted 1” true condenser capsule, individually tuned for consistent performance and delivering detailed, balanced sound with excellent clarity and depth.
Unlike many microphones in its class, the sE2300 uses a true externally polarized condenser design, ensuring high sensitivity, low noise, and accurate transient response. Combined with a traditional Class-A circuit, built from carefully selected discrete components, it offers reliable performance for everything from delicate vocals to demanding instrument recordings.
With three selectable polar patterns, the sE2300 easily adapts to various recording situations, whether you need focused isolation or a more open, natural capture. Two switchable attenuation pads (-10 dB and -20 dB) extend the dynamic range, making it suitable for loud sources such as guitar amplifiers, brass instruments, and drums.
Two selectable low-cut filters at 80 Hz and 160 Hz help reduce unwanted low-frequency rumble and proximity effect, while the custom-built output transformer adds warmth and character reminiscent of classic studio microphones.
The robust all-metal housing provides excellent shielding against interference and long-term durability, while the gold-plated XLR connector ensures a reliable signal connection. The included Isolation Pack, featuring a shock mount and integrated pop filter, provides effective control over vibrations and plosives, making the sE2300 a complete solution for professional recording setups.
