The acclaimed sE Electronics X1 A condenser microphone is now permanently available in White & Black and Red & Black finishes.
Built around the same meticulously tuned condenser capsule, low-noise electronics, and robust all-metal chassis, the X1 A 2C remains one of the most versatile all-around microphones on the market, suitable for vocals, drums, guitar, piano, brass, and strings.
The back-electret capsule delivers a natural, balanced frequency response with speed and precision on any source. The integrated windscreen eliminates the need for an external pop filter, protecting the capsule from moisture and plosive sounds, while the all-metal housing provides shielding against electrical interference for reliable long-term performance.
A -20 dB pad switch increases dynamic range for close-miking loud sources like brass instruments, guitar cabinets, and kick drums, while the 100 Hz low-cut filter combats rumble, footfall noise, and proximity effect (bass buildup when close-miking). A gold-plated XLR connector completes both finishes.
The X1 A in White and Red versions come with a swivel microphone clip and a stand adapter that fits both US and European microphone stands.
