Bluegrass Banjo with Aluminum Pot
The SX BJ565 is the classic five-string bluegrass banjo in this series. The 11-inch aluminum pot provides extra projection and a bright, cutting tone — exactly what you need to be heard in a bluegrass setup.
The Remo Fiberskyn head delivers a snappy, dynamic tone. With thirty tension brackets, you can precisely tension the head and get the full sound out of it. The short fifth string serves as a drone string for the characteristic roll patterns.
Finish and Playability
The resonator features 5A flamed okoume veneer with maple binding, hand-polished to a high gloss. The nato wood neck has a rosewood fingerboard with maple star inlays and rounded frets. Bone nut and maple bridge with ebony top ensure tone and sustain.
The banjo comes in a padded denim gig bag.
