Versatile J-style bass guitar

The SX BD1/BK is a 4-string electric bass guitar with the recognizable shape and versatile sound of a classic J-style model. The two single-coil pickups can be individually adjusted and deliver a variety of sounds, from warm and full to bright and direct.

The neck pickup provides a round bass tone, while the bridge pickup adds more definition and a more pronounced mid-range. By blending both pickups, you can easily create a sound that suits your playing style.

Comfortable neck and long-scale length

The solid basswood body forms a light and balanced foundation. The bolt-on neck made of selected Canadian maple has a satin finish and is equipped with a dual-action truss rod. This allows the neck to be precisely adjusted if necessary.

The engineered-wood fretboard has a 12-inch radius, 21 nickel frets, and white position dots. The traditional scale length of 864 mm ensures familiar string tension and solid low-end reproduction.

Includes SX gig bag

The black high-gloss finish is combined with a tortoise pickguard and chrome hardware. An SX BB400 gig bag is included as standard, so you can store the bass protected and easily take it to music lessons or rehearsals.
